Singapore Swimming Association strives to build well-rounded coaches and teachers pathway to develop our local coaches to the best of their ability

TeachSSA website is dedicated to Learn to Swim Teachers and SGCOACH progamme.

The course is now divided into 2 portions, Online modules, and Classroom Modules. There is a total of 10 Online modules and 8 Classroom Modules. For those who already have completed your SG Coach Theory Level 1, you are exempted on some modules.

Requirements to register as a Swimming Coach with NROC are :

1. SG COACH Certification either

(i) SG Coach Level 1 Integrated Programme for Swimming or
(ii) SG Coach Level 1 Theory & Technical

2. Lifesaving 1 Award course 

3. Basic Sports Science

4. First Aid with AED certification
